About The EGGallery:
The EGGallery is a resource from Digital Paradymes, LLC. The EGGallery is currently featuring a collection of goose egg ornaments and collectible eggs that have been hand-carved by eggshell artist Dave Teachout. These eggs provide an extensive variety of unique collectibles that are sure to be treasured keepsakes for years to come.
The EGGallery provides a channel through its Online Store to facilitate the distribution of unique products such as Hand-Carved Goose Egg Ornaments by Dave Teachout’, as well as other artwork such as Pictures of 1000 Words from Don Teachout, which is a line of artwork featuring images “painted” with thousands of words.
HISTOry:
I originally initiated The EGGallery in 1997, but it fell dormant for a number of years prior to it’s re-activation in 2013. Back in 1997, I began developing the “EGGallery” website to provide the global community with access to Dave’s Eggshell Art. However, development costs added up and the project stalled financially. The registration of the domain itself lapsed, and was permanently lost when it was registered by another company in July of 2002.
In December of 2010, Dave registered MorEGGs.com.
At the end of 2013, I realized that an online purchasing solution for Dave’s Eggs remained unavailable, so I brushed the dust off my old project and renewed my development of The EGGallery. I registered the domain TheEGGallery.com and established The EGGallery as an online presence that could serve as a distribution channel for a variety of “extraordinary gift” offerings.
This time, I retained the title and ownership of The EGGallery in order to insulate Dave from the costs associated with it’s development. Instead of passing the expenses for the development of The EGGallery on to Dave, I am relying upon actual sales to cover the costs associated with the development. This has allowed me to provide Dave with an online catalog and distribution resource without saddling him with the liability of the development costs that have inevitably accumulated.
